Harte 2022
Among the vines of Tenuta Fratini stand statues, like guardians of the work in the vineyard. Harte is dedicated to them, and in its name lies the Italian word for art: arte.
A Bolgheri Superiore full of energy, for lovers of Cabernet Franc and as a gift with a story.
Taste & aroma
In the glass, a luminous, brilliant ruby red. On the nose juicy red and black fruit with a hint of sweetness, plus floral and spicy accents that give shape to the fresh fruit. On the palate first soft and embracing, then a clear, lively acidity sets in that wakes it up. The tannin is deep and fills the whole mouth; the finish brings blueberry and mulberry.

The winery
Harte comes from Tenuta Fratini in Bolgheri. The Fratini family founded Tenuta Argentiera here as early as 1999 and sold it after many international awards. The new winery followed in 2016: in 2017 the first ten hectares were planted in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC, and in 2019 the cellar was ready. The winemaker is Eric Boissenot, consultant to four of the five Premiers Crus of Bordeaux; Emiliano Falsini works with him in the cellar.
In the cellar
The grapes are hand-picked, selected in the vineyard, and sorted again in the cellar. The berries ferment spontaneously, with their own yeasts, in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine then ages twelve months in barrique.
At the table
With rustic Tuscan dishes such as pici with wild boar ragù or pappardelle, with the delicate aroma of white truffle, and with a tagliata of Chianina beef. Open it ahead of time or decant it, and serve at 18 to 20 °C (64 to 68 °F).
